Check out the gallery and you will see that guests often witness wildlife while at the cabin such as mule deer, bison, pronghorn, big horn sheep/rams, and elk are frequently seen between YNP and the Grizzly Den cabin. Even the occassional wolf or grizzly bear may wander through the area.

 

Whether you crave a relaxing morning under the covered porch, taking in the sun as it crests the mountain to the east and gracefully sets the mountains to the west in a beautiful morning glow of various hues, watch the river flow by, elk & mule deer graze just outside the cabin, enjoy an evening glass of wine by the fire pit along the river as the sky fades from blue to purple, to red to black and the millions of stars twinkle in the night sky, you can experience it all at the Eagles Nest.
